When you finally start believing in yourself after a bad time
It’s almost summer. Sometimes just barely describing something as simple as a Ferris Wheel I hope revives sweet memories in the listener. Just a quick and minimal offering, can always expand and edit to the arrangement’s needs.
This is a fictional lyric about someone who's a sidewalk performer, and hoping that he makes a big someday. It's so hard to become a star at anything, even if you're good, to be a pro at it is mostly a dream and people's minds. But you can never give up, and hope that one day you'll get a chance to prove to everyone that you belong on the big stage.
This lyric is about being clean and sober and not going back to drugs. Not listening to the lies that my head tells me. I know that every day that I was out there I was a gambling man, and I skirted death. But today I'm not willing to gamble my sobriety and I don't really do any gambling in general.
This is a lyric about dreaming. I think most of our lives are consumed by dreams that may or may not come true. We always ask ourselves what's the point of living, why are we on this earth, what's our purpose. I think you have to believe in anything that you dream if you wanted to come true. Nothing's over till it's over, so at the end of the day you hope that there's a next one, and maybe that's the day your dreams come true.
