INTRO Let me tell you ‘bout a number that will blow your mind. It goes by the name of 3.14159. But those six digits alone Could never clearly define what it is. They’re just its secret alias. Pi’s got a hidden identity. And there are few who recognize That it’s a master of disguise, But I see That it’s skilled in the art of invisibility. VERSE 1 Pi is comprised of a very long line Of elusive digits That follow the first six. They’re indefatigable. It’s inconceivable. Pi stretches on for miles. It leaves you in denial. You think this number cannot possibly go Any further than to the six digits you already know. 3.14159 is all you usually see. Until out pop 10 others that you weren’t expecting: 2653589793. CHORUS 3.14159. It’s not a number, It’s a ninja. It’ll kick your behind. Just when you least expect it, All its digits combine. It’s much more than just 3.14 159. VERSE 2 Now all Pi’s many digits have got you surrounded. And this number has got you So confounded You don’t know what to do. And before you Can even recover, Oh, brother, You see Pi prepping to make its next move. You’re not even off the floor before some more digits attack you. Screaming: 2384626433832. Whoa! Where did THAT come from?!! Out of the blue. CHORUS VERSE 3 Just like a circle, it seems Pi has no end. But you’re still in denial So you try to pretend That this ubiquitous number Don’t impress you one bit. This intimidation, You can defeat it. You try to remember All the digits in the number. You think you’ve got it handled, but that’s clearly a lie. Cuz then it whips out its next weapon: “Fwah! Let me show you my… 7950288419.” Look out! CHORUS VERSE 4 Whenever there’s a problem for Pi to solve, It always ensures that All its digits are involved. Together, they’re a powerful Solution machine. These digits always adds up. I think you know what I mean. By now, you’ve faced the wrath of Pi numerous times. But this number is a gloater, so it’s still not satisfied. It wants to prove that it’s oh so nifty. So it keeps on coming at you ‘till it reaches digit 50: 71693993751. And then it’s done. For now. CHORUS 3.14159. It’s not a number, It’s a ninja. It’ll kick your behind. Just when you least expect it, All its digits combine. It’s way more than just 3.14. So much more than just 3.14. Oh, it’s way more than just just 3.14 159.
