It’s quite sad to say this, but I’ll be needing a little help On becoming something beautiful I’m stressed to the core, been hearing whistles And this past that won’t die, it haunts ‘till you’re on your knees So you reminisce alone, nothingness has become a throne King of all crumbling buildings As you breathe, isolation takes hold of you As the birds, frail Passing through your window Bats cry Insects crawl Far away, a mountain Go down the stairs and walk Walk away Let the wind unfurl your hair The mountain will wait It will be green Spiritual We all need a little help Just… Don’t fade Blossom The past won’t die Embrace it Learn We are never beautiful

Sniper

By Stanley Chris

The song is a creative look at physical intimacy. The persona is generally a shy character with a lithe physique and is miles away from being athletic. That notwithstanding, he/she is determined to prove that appearances can be deceptive by giving an unexpected performance, a fantasy the person has had for a long time. Line 3 of Verse 1 suggests that the character has a wild side that the partner does not really know about. Verse 2 in its entirety preludes the intense drama expected to ensue that is further amplified in the lyrics of the Chorus. Line 2 of the Chorus is however a subtle assurance to the partner that they will be safe and should not have any fears about the "threat" the other is breathing out, and creates an atmosphere of honest expression of affection. The bridge has two parts, the first two lines capturing the actual activity of the night, which the third and fourth lines of Verse 2 hint will go on till late in the night by employing exaggeration as a tool, and the last two lines talk about the breaks they will have in-between all the "fighting" that will be going on.

Sad Girl

By Karianne Gabaldon

A true story about a woman who self harms and a man obsessed with it. The woman couldn’t quite tell if the man was after her beauty and personality or if it was her self mutilation. His obsession was sick, but something inside of her kept coming back for more. If you are wondering, this “sad girl” is me. The man, well, I will never mention his name.
