China wanting to impose control over Hong Kong and Taiwan. It is never ending and through it all we survive.

The lyrics describe a woman who is agonizingly in a deep downward depression. She relates her depression to that of someone who is drowning, it causes her further panic attacks, fear, and hopelessness. It is a spiral that may end in taking her own life.
