For Nell and Ludlow “Lud” Thorston. Loud was a prominent water colorist who passed a few years ago at 92. He loved to listen to “The Divine One”, Ms. Sarah “Sassy” Vaughn while he painted. One day, in 1990, upon completing a beautiful water color of a sand dune, he heard that Ms. Vaughn had passed away. With tear filled eyes he came down the steps from his studio and told his darling wife Nell. He named his painting SARAH.
