Genres: RnB, Hip Hop, Rap/Trap This lyric is about waking up to the realisation that not everything that was taught to you, was the truth. It discusses the topics of independence and solely relying on yourself for happiness and accomplishment. Know your self worth and others will too. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap. You are guaranteed a hyped audience. Theme: celebratory, 'boasty', confident.
This lyric is inspired by 'Try Again' by Aaliyah feet. Timbaland. LIFE ADDICTION depicts the cycle of going back to what you know is not good or beneficial for you simply because it gives you a high or a temporary fix. This could be applied to relationships, guilty pleasures, or possessions. Genre: rap/hiphop/rnb
Genre: Rap, Hip Hop, Indie, RnB, Pop This song is inspired by the flow and style of Nicki Minaj and Doja Cat. The hook is very catchy and engaging, immediately drawing the audience in. The overall lyrics are quirky, especially in the verses where I included double entendres, satire and confrontational, sexual jargon. The vibes/atmosphere of the lyrics are highly boastful, mocking, with a tint of anger. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.
Genre: RnB, Hip Hop, possibly Rap This lyric illustrates the anger of a lover who does not know where they stand with their person. Are they just friends or are they dating? Do they fancy them or not? These are the questions they want answers to. They warn that their uniqueness is unmatched - if their person does not reveal their feelings and keeps wasting their time, they will move on and their person will never meet another like them. All they want is a sign that their person is interested in them so that they can be free. The lyrics are very relatable. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are confrontational, flirty and cautioning. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.
Genre: Rap, Trap, Hip Hop This lyric is one of the most unique raps I have written recently because it encompasses Astrology and it romanticises the star signs. Mars is known as the God of War and Pluto is known as the God of the underworld, as it is associated with death and rebirth. Mars governs the star sign, Aries, whilst Pluto rules Scorpio. Aries, being a fire sign and Scorpio being a water sign means that they balance each other out and together, create a steamy union. There are a lot of double entendres in the verses to depict the flirtation between the Aries man and the Scorpio woman. The vibes and atmosphere of the lyrics are sexy, sultry and romantic with a catchy hook. You're guaranteed a heated audience. It fits perfectly into most genres, especially rap.
