This lyric is about my love of music, particularly rock and roll. The 70s were very influential time for me. It was between the ages of 10 and 19. During that time I was exposed to a lot of great rock and roll bands, and had the opportunity to see many of them live. It would shape my love for music more than any other genre. Today as I write lyrics, many of those bands are inspiring to me. This is also a lyric about the memories that I have going to those concerts, and hanging out with some of my high school friends. We all love music, and we were all exposed to so much of it.
