Maybe It's Just You
A story about a smart, funny, magnetically beautiful girl who doesn't realize all of those things about herself. She thinks that men are only interested in her for wearing skirts or just how she looks, not realizing how exciting of a person she is. So it's a little song about a man speaking with her and noticing these qualities about her, and he thinks that she must not know how awesome she is.

She says she can’t go out in a miniskirt
Every guy she sees always tryin’ to flirt
And she can feel those eyes starin’ as she walks
But I noticed something evident
A magnetic pull that drew me in
And a thought popped up in my mind while she talked
(Chorus)
Could be you’re so smart
And people think you’re funny
Or maybe that wide smile that turns
A cloudy day to sunny
You ever think it was those eyes
That sparkle ocean blue
Maybe it’s not the clothes you wear
Baby, maybe it’s just you
She noticed my eyes were glancing down
But they were looking at the ground
I felt a little intimidated there by her charm
She’s got an air of serenity
Like a museum viewing a masterpiece
My mind was turning cartwheels, but I stayed calm
(Chorus)
(Bridge)
She suspects that men are hounds
And sniff at her for how she looks
But she amazes like a kid’s first rainbow
And wonders of the world
(Chorus)
