Floating on the wind (Don’t take away tomorrow)”
For the children of Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, and for all the children lost to the madness of untamed violence and lack of common sense gun control legislation. We failed them. Regardless of our differences, we’re supposed to protect them and ensure that tomorrow is their’s.

I saw it all in front of me
Where I was going
Who I wanted to be
Climbing mountains
Racing to the stars
Nothing seemed too far
For me to reach
Just a child
Still so young
Dreams of sailing to the sun
Tomorrow was so far away
But that was yesterday
Please don’t take it
All away from me
Now I’m floating on the wind
High above a world so loud
Like a cloud that has nowhere to be
Breaking this bond between the earth and me
Letting go of it all
You can’t touch me now
You can’t hurt me now
I’ll never be afraid again
That I might fall
And I know
You couldn’t help yourself
You were lost in the flood
Long ago
No one helped you
They could have stopped you
Until they do
We’ll never know
Until they do
We’ll never know
Now I see it all in front of me
Where I’m headed
Who I’m meant to be
High above the mountains
Racing with the stars
Now that I’m gone
Nothing seems too far
For me to reach
Just a child
I was so young
Now I’m soaring past the sun
There’s nothing you can take away from me
And now I’m floating on the wind
High above a world so loud
Like a cloud that has nowhere to be
Breaking this bond between the earth and me
Letting go of it all
And you can’t touch me now
You can’t hurt me now
And I’ll never be afraid again
That I might fall
No, I’ll never be afraid again
That I might fall.
