I saw your dress was green, my hands were shaking You lost your red hat then I lost control Expecting landslides you became an earthquake You buried me now I can’t walk at all A token gesture from an unarmed bandit To turn the tables, I was having fun I hid the evidence, but you still found it I always thought I was the only one I’d give you anything For charms that you supplied I gave you all I had Just to see those I despised Laugh at me and know that I’d… Ridden winners now I’d backed a loser And placed my bets although the odd were too long I gambled everything on losing something I lost it all although I knew it was wrong A token gesture from an unarmed bandit To turn the tables, I was having fun I hid the evidence, but you still found it I always thought I was the only one I gave you everything Your heart desired I gave you all I had Just to see you look at me Spending each day hating me. Now I… Don’t wait for weekend world to start on Friday Every time I fell the weekend whirled You said I’d have to wait ‘til Monday morning But every time I fell the weekend whirled Weekend whirled Weekend whirled Weekend whirled Weekend world

Crowd

By Clairine T.

A relationship between two people with vastly different personalities and perspectives doesn't always work out well. When people are too different, there could never be a middle ground, and a huge rift is created that could not be crossed by themselves or anyone else for that matter. You could say that that kind of relationship is toxic, impossible to fix, that they should go their separate ways before things get worse between them. But when those two people are each other's closest companion, the fear of having no one else by their side often overrides how huge that rift is. Nothing could come out of it, but they only have each other. Though they aren't close and don't understand one another like how friends, or family, should, they are still marginally better than strangers, and sometimes that alone is enough to make them stay in that permanent stalemate.
