Relief

(Howard Aronson)

This song is about when I'm in the throes of my addiction. I know I need to get out of the situation that I'm in. Even though I had a hard life growing up, it's no excuse for sitting around and doing drugs and playing the victim. Sometimes life isn't fair, it just wasn't meant to be that way. So you have to help yourself, and also ask for help from others.

I got a break out of here Surrounded by four walls I was meant to live another life Somewhere freedom calls It's so pathetic To live this way I can't take it For another day Can't get no relief Bound by the drugs I'm caught in their wake God please help me For heaven's sake For heaven's sake When things get tough I just take more drugs I'm living a lie I don't care what's at stake I can't get real And face the truth As the chaos mounts My pain is thru the roof Can't get no relief Bound by the drugs I'm caught in their wake God please help me For heaven's sake For heaven's sake Cuz where I come from Life was not fair I never had a chance To make it out there But is that the truth Many fought there way out People just tell me I don't know what I'm talking about Can't get no relief Bound by the drugs I'm caught in their wake God please help me For heaven's sake For heaven's sake You have to believe To get some relief You have to believe To get some relief

Don't sit back

By Howard Aronson

His lyric is about to war in Ukraine. It's about appealing to people to not sit back and watch the TV, and listen to all the news, while people die for no reason at all. It's about reaching out and reaching in to your pockets and helping any way you can. The people of Ukraine deserve that, and we can't sit back and do nothing. As people here in America, that's not what we're all about, and I'm sure the same goes for most of the European nations. We all have to pitch in and do our part to help these people.

If you ever need me

By Howard Aronson

This song is about a relationship that didn't end very well, as the woman left the man for another guy. He was heartbroken and couldn't understand it but it has another side to it, because he finds out that the guy left his ex for another woman. It's kind of ironic, poetic, and in his mind Justice. But he really cares for her, and would love to get back together with her. So he tells her if you ever need me I'll be there, hoping that she might come crying back into his arms. He knows that she still cares about him, and he's appealing to her that their love is worth trying again

Another lonely night

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about a relationship where the man makes a big mistake and the relationship falls apart. Now he's having remorse everyday and every night, and reminiscing and all that was good about what they had. At first he didn't think that he deserved to be on the outside looking in. But then when he thought about what he did he realized the mistake that he made. Basically he's pleading to her for one more chance, and it's telling her in so many words how sorry he is, and talking about the good things that they had in the past
