Modern mentality

(Jessie Doyle)

Is the world we live in and the reality we exist in really real? Or just fragments, bits and pieces of something on a larger plain our simple little minds just cannot grasp the concept, everyone's set in to their own ways and everyone thinks they have it all figured out until the whole plan becomes unraveled and it wasn't what you thought so you start over, once again thinking you have it all figured out "this time" it's the modern mentality of the human race.

(Verse 1) Take one thought mold a heart change a life lose a mind Running from invisible monsters when everything is fine Hellish propaganda and a four letter word They Coral us all together to slaughter the herd open up your true heart Stop living so confined there are no such thing as boundaries across the power of our minds (Chorus) Break it down and expose the plot What's it gonna take to make you stop We learned the lesson, no more questions no more hesitant second guessing Our future is a mystery decorated with the unknown My soul swells with satisfaction All the circuits have been blown (Verse 2) Take fragments of the flames, ice down coals, and unlocked chains Formations of brand new enemies Cold calculations of casualties Giving thier lives for what was right They weren't afraid to take a fall Showed no fear to answer the call Meaningless waves of agression We keep taking leaps backwards and killing all progression Schools now in session hard lessons to be branded, mistakes are purposely made Detonating ancient emotions like a homemade hand grenade

My satellite dreams

By Jessie Doyle

Wow, this is an awesome song that like most lyrics that I write start off as two words and a seed of an idea that somehow takes a life of its own, basically the concept I had for this song is that our dreams are always in motion and orbit our lives and own personal universes and we may forget about those dreams and put them on the back burner but they're still there, suspended in time and ready for you as a human and free thinking individual to bring those dreams to life if they truly are meant to be.

Cancerous consequences

By Jessie Doyle

This is a song I wrote about the tobacco industry and the complete ignorance of the dangers of smoking tobacco products just to fit in and be a part of what is considered trendy, hip and cool as with is with most things in our society people tend to go with the herd and are terrified of being judged or different that they would rather consume lethal poisons than be the individual they really are on the inside and who they really want to be.

Why Can't Life Be A Beach

By Praveen Vava

This fun song tries to capture the frustration of a free spirit sitting behind a desk all day hating his boss, wishing he was transported away to a beach enjoying cold martinis and hot bikinis.

Into The Dark

By Emily Lister

These lyrics are about facing and overcoming adversity. About relying on yourself and using your survival instinct. Finding a place to escape to where you feel safe and unthreatened. It’s also about battling your inner conscience, the voice inside that may sometimes tell you things you don’t like to hear a voice I associate with depression. But ultimately trying to find a way through to the other side.

Intoxication

By Sheetal Rao

This song is about how society blurs your lesne as you walk through your life, almost as if you are "intoxicated". It also mentions how there are many obstacles and traps you can get sucked into. In the end, you will figure out that you are the one in charge, and that you should take control.

What Do You Want

By Kenna Hei

I wrote this song about the concept of loving someone you're not supposed to love and having it be an unrequited kind of feeling, and how after moving on and getting over them, they finally love you back. It makes you question their intentions and what they ever wanted.

Ist so das Leben ?

By Reinhold Löffler

Für einen Sänger. Nachdem er das Leben und die Liebe zuerst euphorisch als wunderschön beschreibt, wird er dann auch sehr nachdenklich, wenn er an die Zukunft denkt.

American Prayer

This is an anthem to the American people. No matter what color you are, we’re all part of one race.. “The Human Race.” -Played in the style of country-
