Hurricane boy, Longs for peace Hurricane boy, Sweeping up and spiraling with anyone he meets Hurricane boy, “Where's your heart?”, they ask “Your spirit is empty and your energy is cold” But with empty eyes, hurricane boy can answer no questions that they hold Hurricane boy, why did you leave, and how? But hurricane boy Has been whirling, twirling away for quite some time now You wildfire of a man, Pick your feet up off this land, Find your footing in a cloud, Hidden in a misty shroud, Earthquake man under the stars, You ran and ran way too far, Your footsteps have burned and charred, It's up to you now Figure yourself out Hurricane boy, Thinking he is a beast, Hurricane boy, He roars and fights with anyone he meets Hurricane boy, “Where's your home now?” they all once asked “Your tired soul is just ocean air, you’re spiraling much too fast” But hurricane boy Never answered, and now that time has passed You wildfire of a man, Pick your feet up off this land, Find your footing in a cloud, Hidden in a misty shroud, Earthquake man under the stars, You ran and ran way too far, Your footsteps have burned and charred, It's up to you XXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXXX XX XXXXX X XXXXXX XXXX XX XXXXXX XXXXX XX XXXXX XXXX XX XXX XXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXX XX XXX XXXXX XX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX XX XX XXX XXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXXXX XX X XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX XXX XXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXX XX X XXXXXX XXXXXX XX X XXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXX XXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XX XX XXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXX XXX

My Grudge

By Karianne Gabaldon

A depressing piece about someone hating themself so badly that they are their worst enemy and hold a self-grudge. Hurting themself into oblivion. I must admit that this was me until I got help. I am no longer this person due to newfound self-love. I hope those who feel this way get the help that they need as well. I love you and God loves you.

Zum Songtext

Home Alone

By Rowan Wilton

This song is from the perspective of an ambitious house bound individual who is daydreaming of fulfilling their heart’s wildest desires while enjoying earthly comforts. Though our protagonist has been wronged on many accounts by many past tormentors, there is an overwhelming sensation of bliss captured in the words, and newfound motivation brought forth from the careful contemplation in isolation.

Matters of the Heart

By Brian Hendrix

This one just popped into my head while I was trying to get to sleep. It shares a similar title with other songs, but the lyrics here are totally unique. I like the premise of it and how it turned out. Could fit into multiple genres, depending on any type of arrangement one wanted to put to it.

Zum Songtext

She never plays fair

By Howard Aronson

This lyric could be about a relationship, or just a friendship where the person doesn't care that you're caught in a web so to speak. Time and time again they let you down, but you keep going back for more. They find it amusing that you do, and they turn up the heat and do it even more. Basically they don't care at all, and think it's funny that you try so hard and they have total control over you. This happens all too often in relationship and friendships. That's because people are so consumed with themselves, it's so selfish that they take whatever they can get from a friendship or a relationship and just keep on going without reciprocating.
