Spinning Your Wheels
This describes how a person really feels about a friend whose life is fast going downhill because of food, drink, over-indulgence, and weight gain. Wants to offer constructive criticism, but isn’t afraid to be honest and blunt to try to motivate this individual and possibly save his life.

You sleep till two in the afternoon,
this has to end pretty soon,
you’re starting to look like a goon,
time to sing a different tune.
You’re just spinning your wheels,
but not missing too many meals,
I don’t care for the tale,
that’s told when you step on that scale,
your crash diets always fail,
and you’re beginning to resemble a whale.
The seconds are ticking away on the clock,
go walk around the block,
or your head I’m gonna knock,
you’ll never reach your destination,
you’re the laziest bum in this nation.
If you eat more cake and pie,
you’re surely gonna die,
buried in a piano case,
way off base,
tired of looking at your face,
please join the human race.
You’ll be as heavy as a car,
if you eat another candy bar,
the ice cream man will always meet ya,
but your epitaph will say rest in pizza.
For you there ain’t much hope,
if you keep acting like a dope,
you’re at the end of your rope.
I’m telling you this for your own good,
join weight watchers you should,
I’d help you if only I could.
You’re just spinning your wheels,
but not missing too many meals,
I don’t care for the tale,
that’s told when you step on that scale.
