Someday We Will Be Happy
This lyric was inspired by Paul McCartney's (The Beetles)1965 song, 'Yesterday'.
I wrote "Someday We Will Be Happy" with the intention of selling it to Film/Commercial Composers but honestly, if individual Artists are interested, the lyrics, rhyme scheme and rhythm/tempo would make a great ballad. The lyrics depict a dystopian world - a world without "sunny days;" a world filled with pain and agony. It flirts with the idea of a more hopeful time where everyone comes together as one and is happy. Ultimately, the lyrics are heartfelt. You're guaranteed a moved audience. It fits perfectly into most genres.

It's all gone
I look around, the whole world is done
At night I pray for 'Thy Kingdom Come'
Will we ever see the sun?
Sunny days
Just imagine going out to play
I just need some serenity
But it looks like there's no way
The pain eats straight into my soul
I can't cope, the end is near
I hope one day we'll see the sun
We will have fun
Erase your fear
Won't shed a tear
We'll just be one
Instantly
I hear a voice humming so sweetly
Things will get better and you will see
That someday we will be happy
I won't let bleakness reign my soul
