(Christopher Van Name)

My wife gave me a card that said “Someday you’re going to find this card in a drawer…and we will still be in love. Happy Valentine’s Day! For Adela.

I found a card you gave me long ago Hiding in my dresser drawer Tucked away inside an envelope I wanted to remember more And so I read every word That you once wrote to me And then it all came back to me And I could see the way we were Is who we’ll always be And if ever I’m not who You thought it was who loved you Let me go Just let me go And if I should ever doubt That I can’t live without you Tell me so Don’t let me go Don’t ever let me go And so I put your words back in my drawer Someday I’ll take them out once more And when I read them to myself I’ll know We’re still in love just like we were so long ago And if ever I lose you I don’t know what I do Don’t let me go Don’t let me go And if you should ever doubt That you can’t live without me Tell me so And I will go I’ll let you go I found a card you gave me long ago Hiding in my dresser drawer Tucked away inside an envelope I wanted to remember more And so I read every word That you once wrote to me Then it all came back to me And I could see the way we were Is who we’ll always be That’s who we’ll always be That’s who we’ll always be

It depicts the four arms intertwined, symbolizing the hug that Dr. Martin Luther King and his wife, Coretta Scott King, shared after he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. I tried to imagine the emotions that Dr. King might have been feeling.

The juggler

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is a quirky lyric it's short, and would probably repeat itself after it's done. It's a rock genre. It's about a person who's always got a scam, whose dreams are absurdly and wildly fake, and who tells lies constantly. He tries to juggle all of these things into his life and realizes that he can't do it. Most importantly other people realize who he is. He's the juggler, he's in a circus world in his head
