David Cornwall

David Cornwall is a 58 yr old male who describes himself of having a face for radio & a voice for the audio challenged. With a wealth of life experiences including but not limited to having eccentric parents, multiple siblings, a loving family which includes three wonderful children & five grand children and an extended family of diverse individuals with more creases than an elephants scrotum. These experiences alone have armed David with enough material to craft a range of poignant and sometimes satirical lyrics well before the world went to shit.
Just weeks after Covid started to finger humanity, David's family was visited by that other insidious "C" word.
During this time, David was reunited with his guitar. Using music as a powerful outlet for his emotions, David started to pen lyrics that he hopes will not only resonate with Boomer's to Gen Z's and beyond but all those who wish to seek music with meaning & solace.

The clown instills the fear of missing out factor in a person even against their better judgement. With age some men grow out of it or at least have a break from the clown but others continue till the grave. One thing for certain after having two boys of my own, is the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Note: this lyric is probably suitable for BPM's above 165
As the world turns its back on the written word in hard copy for their space in the cloud, I can at least take comfort that when the power goes out and hell freezes over, my family will have something tangible to read albeit under candle light.
Along with the world wide increase in pornographic downloads during the pandemic lock downs this fun lyric plays on all things most people don't like to admit.
The time spent between home life & work is a balancing act that can test the best of relationships, especially these days when social media projects a level of illusion between the haves & have-nots Cash is great but not at the expense of family.
