I envision a person trapped in a Prison of their own mind. With aspirations of a better tomorrow. The lyrics in this offering are inspired by that thinking.
This song was written on the mindset the author had about relationships, people, who we treat people from men to women. The often misconception we all have sometimes when it comes to making a friend, keeping a Husband, pleasing a wife living a better life with a significant other. The constant competition with one another.
This is one of my first lyrics, and also a contest winner! We all know the feeling when we're terribly in love with someone, and we finally have the courage to tell this to the person, but it turns out that our desired one doesn't feel the same way. It is a real heartbreaker moment. This lyric captures that feeling, when we just wish that there was a place "where you could love me".
This lyric is a bit more James Arthur style. A bit influence was his song "Car's outside", although, this is much more lighter and happier version of the topic. It would be ideal with any genre and almost any chord progression. You can make a happy or a sad song out of these lyrics. And personally I really like the concept.
This lyric is a little bit outrageous and contemplative. A very good lyric if you want to add this to a song which they to tell a deeper story. Rory represents Aurora, the sleeping beauty. I tried to make it a little bit quirky, so it can bring some sour smiles on the faces.
