(Jordan Lewis)

It was us...now it's me. Feeling lost without a place to truly call my home. The world can seem like such a big place when your own your own can't it? But I guess we have no choice but to take it on one day at a time.

It was us It was you It was I It was we Now its me Just cruising Through the galaxy Now I'm all alone Floating past these stars, not a single one to call my home Without a place to call my own Tell me, Where do I belong You're either loved by this world Or not from it Lately I can't seem to stomach Baby Baby Too true for a purpose They say real eyes realize real lies But tell me if it's worth it Tell me if it's worth it To dig beyond the surface Can't see beyond the surface Afraid of what they're cursed with Please don't spread the curses

Today

By Brian Hendrix

On today, of all days -- I know a lot of people ask that. I heard someone say it somewhere the other night, and it just pestered me until I sat back in my recliner and wrote a song about it. The verses bleed directly into the chorus, which is what I think makes it pretty strong and catchy. The tempo changes a bit throughout as far as cadence goes. Though I try to construct in such a way that the intent of the song comes through text. I hope it does come through. I really like this one. Been singing it all morning.
