Winter in Hearts

(Karlo Čavlović)

Even though some relationships feel perfect due to our adoration for the other person, in most cases the real situation is nowhere near. Perfection is not achievable, but mediocrity is even worse. We should never settle for someone who does not cherish us, but we also shouldn't be the person who doesn't cherish their partner fully. When we feel that something is off and that our love for our partner is simply fading away, it's better to be honest than continue to hurt both ourselves and our partner.

You say that you love me I say that I love you back We're being dishonest Both of our hearts are cracked But I can't escape I want you to take My soul in a way Only you know how And every day We stand in the rain Laugh at the pain So just have me now Make me your love Make me your drug Make me whatever you need We're falling apart Winter in hearts We'll never live in our dreams You say that you're sorry I say that I'm sorry too But I think we've lost it And now we're just playing fools But I can't escape I want you to take My soul in a way Only you know how And every day We stand in the rain Laugh at the pain So just have me now Make me your love Make me your drug Make me whatever you need We're falling apart Winter in hearts We'll never live in our dreams Winter in hearts Like heaven to us Hurt but alive 'till death do us part

Hell is Real

We live in a world where nothing remains sacred, not even life. It feels as if we all care only about ourselves.

Supernova

The song tells a story of love which feels too good to be true. At times we think that we've found the perfect person when in fact we couldn't be more wrong. The beauty of the person is breathtaking, but their feelings are malicious.

Broken Lullaby

By Karlo Čavlović

A broken lullaby is a metaphor for the voices in our heads telling us that we are not enough and that our life is meaningless. The lullaby symbolically tries to put you to sleep, but sleep, in this sense, is neverending. Our everyday demons try to make us believe that our sadness is forever, even though it isn't.

No matter how hard we try, some relationships simply don't work out. This type of a breakup hurts even more because you know you've given it your all and it still didn't work out. You're bound to leave a person you still love with your whole heart, knowing that, there is nothing else you can do.

(Things) Get Out Of Hands

By Jones Lyrics

Topic(s): This one is about drifting away from work or away from an achieving spirit, back into the loving arms of a relationship. After every life-circle of gain, the couple comes back to reconciliation & over the song develops a positive attitude about letting things get out of hands & caring for their relationship. Even though it looks like the couple wouldn't be able catching up with things first, it comes out that it's more like a "the-rest-of-the-world-can-go-down-as-long-as-we-got-ourselves"-attitude ;) Atmosphere: Romantic love things, sacrificing for something higher, straight forward Genre/Style I was thinking of: Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Soul, RnB, Autotune, EDM/House Artist(s) I was thinking of: Regina Spektor, Post Malone, Zoe Wees, The Weeknd, dvsn, many more Comment: yeeea!... typical pop-structure & easy to sing along with. A bit to play with the "Oh" & Woow" as it is needed & fitting your style or imagination. So simple, but still a lot behind on a second read/listen. These lyrics are waiting here for you to make a hit out of it ;)

Savor

By Karianne Gabaldon

This is about being a writer and loving what you do; savoring every moment, even though death is near. It starts out sad in the first verse, then moves up to content in the chorus.
