Mr. Darling
These lyrics were inspired by the real story of Johanna, a young dancer who committed suicide after her lover was murdered. It is said that her father was the one who hired the murderer and that her ghost still roams the rooms of her former working place, which is now Bobby Mackey's Music World. This song seeks to tell about the murder and its aftermath, translating the couple's unfortunate circumstances and Johanna's sadness with the loss of her love through a darker veil.

(VERSE 1)
Of all the men in town
She had to fall for you
The maggots in your flesh
Will never know the truth
Of the night her father set you up
"Come meet me, man to man"
Before the hammer dropped on your head
You wouldn't understand
(CHORUS)
All eyes are on your hearse
Dreams and wishes weep again
"Mr. Darling, wait!"
If only love could raise the dead
You'd rise ten times more
"Mr Darling, wait for me!"
(VERSE 2)
The flowers on your grave
Could not translate her pain
The tears roll on her face
It always stays the same
The dice roll on the table
The shuffling of the deck
The decision was made
The rope around her neck
(BRIDGE)
The echoes of that night
Might scare you to this day
There's nothing to fear here
She merely wants to play
(FINAL CHORUS)
All eyes are on your hearse
Dreams and wishes weep again
"Mr. Darling, wait!"
If only love could raise the dead
You'd rise ten times more
"Mr Darling, wait for me!"
"Mr Darling, wait for me..."
"I'm coming now..."
