Lost My Way is a song about just feeling...well lost. Going through the motions, feeling empty inside about life, looking for a lifeline from someone or something.

A folk song I wrote about a pretty girl who a man views as smart and perceptive, and he really cares for her. He believes that she sees the world in a unique way, but he's upset and confused that she doesn't see how much he cares about her and how good he is for her. In terms of writing, I really love how poetic this came out.

I was a teenager and woke up one night, and a lady was standing over me while I slept. It really got to me. I convinced myself it was just a dream, but it stuck with me for so long, always thinking about that "silver lady" I saw. That's how she looked like to me, and this is just a folk-style song I wrote about what I imagine the "silver lady" to be.

Just a fun, upbeat song about being from the Southern United States. A lot of people in the cities look down on southern life, but we in the south typically want nothing to do with those big, crowded cities.

A song about a woman who thinks she has to be perfect to get into Heaven, so she tries all she can to the point she can’t anymore. So she loses faith and ends up going down a pessimistic past. In the end, she not only finds the light, but she also finds that imperfection is the best perfection that ever existed.
