Donald Moore Jr, who goes by the moniker BIG DONALD is an emcee,versatile , quirky and eclectic lyricist from Poland, . He discovered his finesse on the pen and adeptness to exploring, manipulating and playing with words to create music in his teenage days. His penchant for rhymes and rhyming developed when his Dad bought him a Children’s Rhyme and Poetry Book. In his high school days, his exposure to literature in English and Poetry especially, led him into song writing, having started composing raps from poems by different authors in 2009. In 2012, He got bitten by the HipHop bug at age 13 when he heard O.P.P by naughty by nature blaring in every house party, school events , cars and on the streets.The dictionary was his favorite book growing up and rhyming, wordplay and words in general are his toolbox.
Donald, is a professional artist and his writings can be described as very visual. Having the mindset of a visual artist, always looking to experiment with form and imagery. Why say the sun is setting or rising ( which is fine ) when you can say it’s a burning rose shedding its pedals of lights as an example. Having come back to writing, starting off his Poetry journey by writing lyrical style poems he managed to get two of them published in 2016 EA’s “ Brother My Cup “ published out of Germany. Exploring the world of poetic forms, learning their rules and giving him a better understanding of how rhymes work. Donald has even created his own forms with both complex and easy structures and rhyme schemes. Explore, expand, or edit are the main criteria for his writings. Anything from minimal and quick to complex and epic.

Donald is a talented and imaginative writer and linguist who has a real way with words. He has penned two novels and is working on a third and works as a copywriter in the communications field. Donald writes poems and some of these works have become the inspiration for his song lyrics. His lyrics are appropriate for all musical genres but most are probably best for slowish, ballad-type songs.
Any one of these tunes could be a #1 hit in the hands of the right musician. Country, rock, pop are a natural and most could be funk.
BIG DONALD (real name Donald Moore Jr, a cold hardened lad from Poland) has been writing for years now. What started as a fun hobby, became a passion. Having loved storytelling, music and lyrics were the perfect outlet for BIG DONALD. BIG DONALD felt like this world had fairytales and stories that had to be told. So he decided to tell them.
Donald Moore Jr is a lifelong storyteller striving to foster empathy and compassion through art. Originally from the Poland suburbs, he now resides in France, where he primarily works as an independent filmmaker and lyricist. Most recently, he has written the lyrics and book for a full-length stage musical, an excerpt of which was produced at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in May, and he has completed his first microbudget feature film that will be released in July.

Donald Moore Jr is a lyricist who generally uses his own life as inspiration for what he writes. he is from the south-east of Poland. There will be elements of love, lust and life.
A native of Poland, Donald Moore Jr brings over 6 years of professional experience to the music industry. Making his professional debut at age 19, Donald has since evolved into a seasoned multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, vocals) and composer. His portfolio includes an impressive collection of over 59 original works. Although influenced by a childhood immersed in jazz, Donald’s compositional style is highly versatile, seamlessly bridging genres ranging from emotive ballads to high-energy rock.
Donald Moore jr born in 1999, lives and works in France on the Paris Gemstone Route. For many years, painting and drawing were an important part of his artistic career, reflecting his long-standing work as a gemstone engraver. His profession took him on numerous business trips, including to New York, where he created hand-engraved pieces in agate based on his own designs. In 2023, he trained as a web designer. His texts date from this period (2015-2019) and were not intended for public consumption at the time of their creation. Only years later did he decide to publish them.
Donald studied Computer Science, mathematics, and Statistics. he has written for daily newspapers and produced radio features. he is currently working on a book about caregiving. Donald is very articulate and enjoys communicating his thoughts and feelings. His song lyrics are exceptionally honest, sometimes profound, and often original and witty.
Donald Moore jr attempts to depict the human condition in all its facets through his lyrics. Although he, a teacher himself, doesn't necessarily want to preach, if his lyrics linger for a while and unfold a new meaning in quiet moments, he will have already achieved more than he would have thought possible before discovering this platform.
