A slight homage to Classic Country in trying to drink away the heartache. The chorus hook came to me in a dream, and how rain catches random lighting looking similar to the bands in a Porcupine’s quill and stings as it sobers up the broken hearted man.

It’s about a young man fighting alcohol addiction, struggling to quit and realize his true potentials. He’s trying to be introspective while drunk at the same time, so his vision kept blurring out. He frequently wakes in a hangover, but mama’s care and prayers don’t stop coming.
A couple, (that is at any other time), a very strong and bonded pair, have been now, fighting at a whole new level. Fighting that they're not used to, a fighting that is more frequent and of a caliber that's leaving a more prevalent impact on... So much so that she's about to call it quits and run... meanwhile he's saying it's just a phase, everything's gonna be ok..l
