My love

(Howard Aronson)

This is a love song about a woman who has passed away, and left her husband with an empty feeling. He remembers everything so clearly about how it used to feel to be with her. He even sees her face and his dreams, and it looks so real that he wants to reach out and grab her. We always miss the things we can't have, as the old saying goes and he misses her so much, but the reality is he can't have her, because she's gone. He remembers the things that they used to do together, but understands that those days are just over. In the end he knows that his love won't be coming back, but he'll never forget how it was. He may find love again, but no one will ever replace this love.

My love Won't be coming back But I'll never forget How she use to feel I see her face In my dreams And I swear It looks real I'll always miss What I can't have I'll always miss Her so bad I remember the days We sat on the beach But now those days Are out of reach My love Won't be coming back But I'll never forget How she use to feel I still feel Her hands on my face And I swear It feels so real As the sunsets And the moon shines Another like you Will be hard to find My love Won't be coming back But I'll never forget How she use to feel I see her face In my dreams And I swear It looks real

Born liar

By Howard Aronson

This is a fictional lyric about a woman who's just a taker and a liar. A guy gets into a relationship with her and has no idea what he's in for. Whenever she opens her mouth all that comes out is wind, another word for lies. Her promises mean nothing, and she could care less how much pain you're in because of it. When you get involved with a woman like this you get burned. I think every guy knows what that's like. But in no way is this meant to be demeaning to women, I just think it's reality that you have these types of relationships, and they work both ways men are the same way but since I'm a guy I usually write about women. Maybe I'll try one more the man is a villain.

This is a fictional lyric, about a man who lost the love of his life. She had so much love to give, that he used to joke she had an endless Love supply. He had never met anyone like her, and to this day hasn't. He asks God why she had to be taken so soon. And now he's left empty inside he just wakes up every day and no matter whether the sun's out or not it's a gloomy day for him.

Dirty Town

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about every day America. People having kids that don't belong having them. And now they take abortion off the table, and these kids are going to be left to have a life of misery. If you going to have a kid, and then just give it away, and don't have one in the first place. There's always a dirty town, and I mean a town with lots of secrets that gives birth to children who never have a shot. This is a fictional lyric about just that. He grew up in a Dusty Little Texas town, with a father who was a drunk, and a mother who is a prostitute. He had no shot from the beginning.

Haunted

By Howard Aronson

This lyric is about an old girlfriend that I just can't stop thinking about and it's really affecting my life. No matter where I am or what I'm doing my mind always drifts back to her. It just feels like I'm haunted, and my thoughts will never break free from the destruction that I felt in this relationship. I resort back to drinking to try to get over it, and that never works. The fact is is that you just have to accept reality and move forward. It's human nature, to think about an old flame, it's just not good to obsess over it. The best way to not have to obsess over something is to replace it with something else that'll take your mind off it. I'm not saying I want to go out and find another girlfriend it's just find another activity that will help me get through it other than drinking. Cuz drinking never works.

In einer Welt, in der man quantitativ konsumiert

By Ann-Kathrin Betz
