John Clayton

John Clayton is an accomplished highly organized Writer accustomed to producing excellent lyrical content on short deadlines. A self starter with experience collaborating with a close knit Team or solo. He is familiar with all styles and genres of music and versed in a broad spectrum of topics and issues which produces high quality songs. So whether light hearted hooks or social commentary anthems he can deliver in all areas.

He has studied extensively at the Royal Conservatory Of Music which has given him a solid base from which to work and develop as an Artist. Always enthusiastic, he is eager to contribute to Team success while working hard and leaving any ego at the door. Whatever your project you can feel confident that your vision will be realized, heard, and brought to life with a unique style, and perspective while keeping an extremely high standard and attention to detail.

In today's world many of us have experienced on a personal level or through others the effects of addiction on an acquaintance or even a family member. Whether it's drugs, alcohol, gambling or any other type of addiction often the consequences can be the same not only for the addict but for those around them. "Do the Line" touches on a surface level the issues from the addicts perspective and how it can often result in a gradual loss of everything around them.

This song explores how we can "complete" some of our own personal situations and how society could do the same.
