The character feels a mixture of hurt, contempt, and sadness for the person that chose this course of action. This person is disgusted yet recalls the loved one's distant behavior toward the end. Not really a rhyme scheme here. I wrote this awhile back listening bands like Lamb of God. Preferred genres (but not limited to) Groove metal/ Metal.
