Karianne Gabaldon

Karianne Nicole Gabaldon is a Songwriter from Hugo, Oklahoma. She has been writing lyrics since the age of 13. She wrote her first actual song in 2010 at the age of 18. She works on, not only songs, but books. She is a published author, poet, and screenwriter as well. She had started to write for music artist, Jordan Carroll, but it didn’t turn out. She had also written for other musicians that had used her work but not exactly partnered up with her. She has schizophrenia, but puts her pain into writing. Her mother, biological father, and stepfather are all incredible musicians who most likely made Karianne the songwriter she is today. She loves her life so much and is so grateful for the people in it — especially those who chose to follow her on her journey through writing.

This is about being judged for being an addict, and everybody’s assumption about you being wrong. People can be so awful and ignorant.
Disclaimer: All persons or characters in these lyrics is fictitious. This song is about a man wanting a woman but she wants him first to love her. He finally shows his worthiness and they get intimate, but then he leaves.
About my ex boyfriend and letting him know that he hasn’t left my mind since. I still miss him after years. It words a lot of our memories together.
A little something I’d like to dedicate to my schizophrenia. It’s me talking to schizophrenia like it’s a person. The friend part is sarcasm; schizophrenia isn’t really my friend, but it’s kind of dark humor, or something.
A fictional song about a person dancing on one’s grave, then resurrecting him/her and he/she kills that person to live together ever after.
