tired of pain
I wrote this song after I broke up with my ex boyfriend - I was trying so hard on this relationship and I really wanted it to work but somehow I was the only one who was fighting - after the breakup I was so down and sad and heartbroken because I just wanted a love that lasts and that is real and this is what the song is about - I doubted myself being enough

you know I thought that you were the one
the one I die with when I'm tired and done
the person who makes me laugh
when days are struggling and getting rough
tell me did I ever ask for too much?
who am I to you am I not enough?
is it something I did is there someone else?
or am I overthinking and doubting myself?
so where are you on my lonely nights
I hoped you would be here be my guiding light
I wear my smile
like borrowed clothes
too loose to fit
too heavy to hold
(too heavy)
how could I be so stupid
to let you know me like that
I was so damn foolish
and then you stabbed my back
(stabbed my back)
I hoped you would be my peace
'cause I'm tired of pain
I thought you're my missing piece
but I was wrong damn I got hurt again
(not again)
you called to me damn I fell at your feet
tell how could I be so stupid
so where are you on my lonely nights
I hoped you would be here be my guiding light
I wear my smile
like borrowed clothes
too loose to fit
too heavy to hold
(too heavy)
how could I be so stupid
to let you know me like that
I was so damn foolish
and then you stabbed my back
(stabbed my back)
