V:1 These are the days Charts and numbers rule our ways Every day I wake up and say Thank you, I'm still okay V:2 Took for granted (oh) so much Total freedom, freedom to touch Never thought a day would arrive Where hugs and kisses could take a nose dive Chorus: I wanna wrap my arms around you And then never let you go... oh... Sending shivers down my spine Lose myself and all sense of time... baby V:3 So many fell I'm so ashamed, can you tell Thinking 'bout how my room is a cell And when I leave I'm still in a shell V:4 (They call it) social distancing Muffled voices when we sing Behind masks, high fives an elbow thing No spark when I hear my phone ring V:5 Things were fine when I took my flight For 2 years everything was alright But now my family's on the other side Wish I was there, at least nobody died V:6 That sounds (oh) so bad Emotionless, but the truth is I'm sad A happy moment, my guilt drives me mad I feel so cold every time I feel glad Ending?: Let this all be over Let us get together Let us hold each other And let our hopes and our dreams Make the future unfold Filled up with light And everything bold

REAL TRUTH?

By Neels Brand

I am sure that by posting thos I will open myself to ridicule and jokes. Yet how quikly we forget man's inhumsanty to man. We forget the horrific experiments that have been perform without consent on mothers and babies involving tadiation poisoninh, even soldiers while testing a new gas.... In the 90s Bill Clinton himself said sorry to hundreds of lives that had been ruined by braincontrolling experiments against the subjects knowledge, some of them even having found a capsule shaped object implanted in their heads revealed by exray, and the president not only admitted to this but took resposibility. Why is it so hard fir people to bepieve that I am one of God knows how many subjects for a nano-neural study. The tech already exists to communicate with people in a coma. If you narrate thoughts, the software can interpret it, and even more amazing is putting "voices" back into your brain without the need of sound. Apparently they have moved on from just mere boneconduction for sound. Read about it. Honestly, how crazy do I sound now. It does not matter, we live in ex iting times and tech is growing exponencially at such a frenetic rate I do not believe even Elon Musk's safe guards against AI is going to help.

Selfmade Prisons

We're so enslaved to our devices everyday, or out of touch with that inner-child... and honestly, a smile costs nothing. Just a feel good lyric about more time away from our black screen overlords. LOL!!

No Great Epiphony, Just Euphony

By Neels Brand

Began writing this lyric about how Neil Degrasse Tyson once spoke about how language is actually impeding us and getting in the way of progress by forcing us to put out feelings and ideas into words that already exist. I simply took it one humble step further by proposing that souns and music itself could serve to "help" eleviate this problem. I feel kind of silly cause, you know, he is the "rock star of science", but I meant every word. It also occured to me, by the end, that I was not thinking of those who are deaf, or struggle with hearing related problems. I deeply apologise if my lyrics came across as insensitive in any way. I am just so tired of a world full of darkness, hatred, war, famine... and if I am to say something, I should start somewhere. P, ease forgive me.

Connected To The Source

By Neels Brand

Forgive me, I went freeflow, limitations of language and such... a little philosohpy... but so much... i don't know how to drscribe it, but we are all connected to the source somehow... I know I sound crazy when I say things like that, but I'd rather that than not say them at all. Also, there's a hitchiker's guide to the galaxy half mentioned, more like a tribute, but I syraight up mentioned a song that I feel a strong connection too, and also a strong connecrion that EVERYBODY should watch that Youtube song: Kriill - My Eyes Will I Ever

Lügen, haben kurze Beine, finden meist kein gutes Ende, ein Fair Play wenn es in einer Beziehung nicht mehr funktioniert, wäre die bessere Lösung.

Plastic Faces is a rap song about the struggle to live during the current pandemic. It encompasses the fear of going outside and the longing for a better, safer life. After all, who wants to breathe through a mask?

Natural Order

By Brian Hendrix

This is a song I wrote inspired by my father, who passed away a year ago. I wrote this a few months after he passed. The way I wrapped my head around it finally was reaching the realization that this is simply the "natural order" of life. We love. We laugh. But mostly, we lose. We lose what we have and what we gain, and it's something that unifies us. As divided as we are in this world, we never seem to take the time to realize that we're all going through the same stuff. We're all at the mercy of the natural order. Country song from a male perspective.
