Upside Down
I wrote this about an ex of mine. She was pretty much my one and only true girlfriend, so when she broke up with me, it was safe to say I was heartbroken. Basically from the moment she dumped me onwards, I felt like I would never feel that type of love again, and I was so mad at myself for letting her get away. In this song I reminisce on the ups and downs of our relationship, and how after falling out of love, it's as if she didn't see me the way she used to.

Verse 1:
No one above you
Hate that I love you
You got me doing the most
I'm just so stressed out
Guess I'll confess now
These girls don't even come close
Pain you inflicted
But I was addicted
And like a drug I took a dose
Oh God
Where do I go from here
Verse 2:
Memories haunt me
You said you want me
Then you go leave me on read
No second chances
But that's how romance is
Regretting the shit that I said
Still I was faithful
For that you were grateful
So what is this thing that I dread
Oh God
Where do I go from here
Chorus:
Yes I was lost
But I'm still not found
Think back on memories
All that jealousy
Kept me down
Yes you were my queen
And I wore the crown
Oh its a losing war
that I'm fighting for
on your battleground
Verse 3:
I'm in pursuit of
And real and a true love
I still feel empty inside
Nights getting colder
And I'm getting older
When will these feelings subside
Friends they all question it
I say don't mention it
What is the reason I lied
Oh God
Where do I go from here
Chorus:
Yes I was lost
But I'm still not found
Think back on memories
Had no remedy
I was bound
Yes you were my queen
and I wore the crown
What's this façade I see
Its like you talk to me
Upside down
*Improvise for 6 bars*
What's this façade I see
Its like you talk to me
Upside down
