I got no time for these pleasantries, just what are you not telling me?! I’m sick of this embellishing just what are you not mentioning?! If this is all you’ve got to say, then maybe I don’t gotta stay. I tell you now that I won’t play whatever game that you are trying to save! No, I won’t linger, sitting in the dark, finger on the trigger. Letting it slip, letting it wither. Don’t give a shit! It’s now or it’s never! I won’t sit, I won’t dally, I won’t stay. Taking tally every day. No, I will not live that way You can play this one-man game. When I’m gone you’ll hold the blame. I got no time for these empty words, every lie is another line blurred I don’t care now if you’re hurt coz playing along has grown absurd. Keep my stuff if it makes you smile. I won’t be back for a long-ass while. Had my fill of all your bile. And now I’ve gotta decompress. Take my time to reconcile. One last chance is all I’ve got! To try my hand and take the shot! Falling in love is just kid stuff all that shit was just made up. The truth be told, it takes some work. It takes a toll and it takes some hurt. But before I’m cold beneath the dirt I’d like to see just what I’m worth. I’d like to see just what I’m worth. I’d like to see just what I’m worth. I can’t predict, I can’t sense the play. I’d like to be a kid, for just one last day...

A song about defeating your own demons and the people who hold you back. This song is as much about mental illness as it is domestic abuse hence the double meaning of Split.

A Zealous Son

By Steven Mailer

Son of exiled kings, he returns to the world to court its damnation! In the ruin of mankind's vanity is his new kingdom born, one of fear and agony. His final dark sacrament to bring his father back into the world, to see what his hate hath sewn.

Voices

By Neels Brand

This song is about voices that have manifested in my mind. At first it was only a week or 3. It all started 11 years ago, right about the time the brain initiutive started, and I just happehed to be in Hymen City at that time, a city known for its ecnredible technolohical advances, and that was also the first time I heard the voices). Now maybe they have ties to South Africa, and they pick they're targets well. Anybody with any pree-existing mentak condition, which means 25% of humanity. Add to that reacreational drug use and the percentage drastically drops. I have had to live with them never shutting up for a full year recently, do you know what that is like when in the "real world" you have a psychotic that has it in for you, smears your name, lies about you being aggressive, yet he us the one ever to puch me a shiner, through my broken glassess. He even pushed by mype in my ckassroom one day about money i do not owe him, thank God no kids were around, 1st thing I did was dop my broom to the floor when I saw he was trying to steal my phone, I took it back, the was the usual 2 mebpn hardly poshing each other around, he then damages his arm takes photos and claims... wait for it... I attacked him with the broomstick! What a lying miacreant piece of shit must you be to be that much of a pschopath. My point being, beween the experiment ("voices"), COVID19, no full time job because of this psycho, and then deeking with all the plethora of shit that comes my way from this hidious madman,.

Here in the Hollers

By Brian Hendrix

I wrote this chorus years ago, about growing up in mountain hollers in the Appalachia, a world away from where the vast majority of people grow up. Most people can't even picture what life was like there. I didn't write the verses until all this civil unrest started, and people who live in my neck of the woods started to get blamed for things that have nothing to do with us. So, yeah, this song has a political meaning, but I worded it in a way that it's not very overt or polarizing. It's a true story about Mrs. Johnson losing her land and John finding God and people laughing at him, and the government tearing down all our land and blocking our water, while at the same time taking more away from us saying we owe things to other people for things we never did. "Bear" and "Oak" are the name of holler communities, by the way.
