This is one my favorites I've written recently. About a guy whose girl is mad at him, but he knows candies and cards and chocolates just won't do. His girl likes whiskey and she likes roses. I think it's written pretty well and the chorus really stands out and pops the way it rhymes and flows.

In my late Sophomore year of high school, I was forced to move away from the friends that were important to me. After facing the realization that I would be leaving for good, it dawned upon me that I never appreciated those friends enough. I spent my time there dealing with insecurity and fear of getting close to them. "Alone" focuses on my feelings for one friend in particular who I was always too afraid to talk to (mostly because he was popular) and the longing to see him again.

A pop-rock/gospel vibe - my own try at a lean on me/troubled water type of lyric.

This is actually for my sister. She is my best friend and we understand each other. I love her so much. I hope two hearts can relate to this.
