The lyrics are about a person who has a toxic partner

The narrator in Tears Of Joy is in an apparently vulnerable position when he or she is surprised by an unexpected visitor, who finds the subject alone, disheveled, possibly drunk, and crying. Immediately, the narrator begins to cover his/her tracks, explaining away the evidence of despair.

Inspired by the wild horses of the Southwestern and Western USA, Poland, and Mongolia. This is also an early experiment with a rhyme scheme similar to other forms of poetry in repetition of lines. As with all my writings, I can edit as needed or work out a melody to suit any genre.

With the flexibility to be Alternative, Pop, or even Country. Inspired by 60’s and 70’s Cult Horror classics dealing with Voodoo but with a modern twist. This is a quick “ demo “ version of lyrics, if a more complex arrangement is needed or preferred just let me know.
