Singer laments the death of their lover in the home they built together that has become an oppressive reminder of everything they've lost. The singer resigns themself to becoming a ghost, haunting the rotting body of a dead love, etching the memories of the one they lost into the wood and stones for all time.

This song is about the year we're currently living in, the year 2020. Many bad and good things are happening, this is a challenging year. The song deals with how hard it is to have fun with everything that's going on in the world.
