I wrote this song about the concept of loving someone you're not supposed to love and having it be an unrequited kind of feeling, and how after moving on and getting over them, they finally love you back. It makes you question their intentions and what they ever wanted.

Describing a friends with benefits relationship that is detrimental but also creates tension.

This song tries to capture the indomitable spirit of the athlete, training hard, with eyes only on one’s goal, not giving in to fear or pain and pushing oneself beyond what the body thinks it can.

Für einen Sänger. Nachdem er das Leben und die Liebe zuerst euphorisch als wunderschön beschreibt, wird er dann auch sehr nachdenklich, wenn er an die Zukunft denkt.

Für eine Sängerin oder ein Sänger. Eine Abschiedsszene am Bahnhof wird beschrieben und die Überlegungen was zurückbleibt. Ein Kuss, ein Blick noch. Ein paar Tränen fließen. Dann folgt die Hoffnung, dass die Trennung bald vorbei ist.
