Dizzy Diamond

(Karianne Gabaldon)

This song was inspired by Taylor Swift’s “Gorgeous” from her Reputation album. It’s about someone wanting someone so bad but there’s nothing that she can do about it. They met over Facebook, barely even said ten words to each other, and live states and states away. But she knew she’d fall for him just by looking at his picture. She has a keen sense of love, especially because all of the rejection she’s had made her more keen.

(Verse 1) The moment I saw your profile pic, Got me twisted up, brain gone manic. I can’t control the emotions. Or explain them, Need to obtain them. I know I’m probably not good enough for you, Don’t worry, honey, I’ve been there too. Insanely, But mainly, I just need you. (Pre Chorus) I don’t know you yet, But I want to. I’m sure you’re an incredible person, I’m sure I’ll end up falling for you. (Chorus) Dizzy diamond, Where have you been, My entire life? If you don’t want me in your life, I’m not a quitter, I’m such a good hitter, I’ve picked the diamond out, Of the kitty litter. (Verse 2) If you reject me then I completely understand, But if we’re in person I could help but hold your hand. You could try and stop me, But what fun would that be? I’m extravagantly needy, that’s just me. Your dark hair problems shines in the sunlight, It probably blows in the winds of a dark night. I know we’re both far away, But in my mind you stay. (Pre Chorus) If I told you, Something crazy, Like I love looking at you, Out of all the weeds out there you XXXX XXXX X XXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX X XXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXX XXXX X XXXX XX XXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXX XX XXXXXX XXX XX XX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXXXX XXXXX XXXXX X XXXXXX X XXXXX X XXXXX XXXX XX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXXX X XXXXXXXXX XX XXXX XXX XX XXX XXXXXXX XXXXX XXXXXXXX XXX XXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX X XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXX XX XXXX XX XXX XXXXXXX XXXX XX XX XXXX XXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXX XXXXXXXX X XXXXXXX XXXXXXXX XX XXXX XX XXXXXXXX

This song is about someone being left in the cold from a frozen love; metaphorically speaking, of course. But this is her wanting him back, wanting her summer sun back.

Fighting The Flask

By Karianne Gabaldon

This is about an alcoholic man who decides to get help. He had realized that the booze world wasn’t for him and he knew he was fatally fading, so he put down the alcohol and never looked back. I’d say it’s pretty inspirational for those struggling with addiction.

LoveTrip

By Karianne Gabaldon

A second version of Tripping On My Love. It’s the same meaning and the same topic, just extended and with different lyrics. This one is a little more fun. They’re both pretty upbeat if you want them to be, but this one has a little more umph.

Maß aller Dinge

By Georg Wagner (GeWa)

Egal, welches Maß man anwendet. Ob Hohlmaß, Zeitspanne oder Längenmaß. - Jesus bleibt immer das Maß aller Dinge. Dieses Lied kann man sehr schön mit dem Gospel-Chor einstudieren.
