That secret is just representative for a couple of secrets that are symbolically hiding under the narrator’s hair. I was seeing the narrator from a woman’s perspective. The atmosphere can be mystical, intimate, energetic, souly, warm. I was pretty much inspired by Jorja Smith while writing it. So genrewise I would see it in an indipop, alternative soul direction. The structure is a really easy pop structure, which could be extended by repeating the first verse and the chorus or just the chorus multiple times. Enjoy the process!
