Exit Wound
A hip hip storytelling theme from the perspective of a guy who just experienced an awakened consciousness for the first time. He realized.

He was trying to educate his dawgs like trained military hounds
Little did he know that his khats were too pussy, scared of truth
It was just in his youth when he heard gospels from culprits
Discovering that most of his age mates were strangers to themselves
He saw warewolves amongst sheeple & the dangers that lurk
He was playing peek-a-boo while most of his colleagues were blindfolded
One eye on the price the other eye focusing on his goals
Apparently he was chasing after currency like most souls
Jobless youths in abundance like abandoned marriages
Seems though a very few manages to take care of their responsibilities
He began to be a critical thinker an intellectual linker
Observing how missing pieces are moved like contraband
When the smoke cleared he could see past the sleight of hand
Upgraded optics as if he wore a night vision monocular
When he was stoned he easily stared sharp at Medusa
Wasn't much of a braniac but had a soft spot like a medulla
Kept digging African history like he was unearthing the body of Lobengula
Tryna trace the hidden roots of his ancestral human family tree
Knowing he was a ripening seed it was fruitless to focus on pericarps
A shot in the dark struck the witch who bewitched him
As the curse of racism suffered from a lethal exit wound.
