He Loved The Women
This is my first country song, it's based on a fools life, and that fool is me. I went 9 years clean, and during that time a good 6 years without even kissing a girl. You have to relearn some things. I had been the drunken crazy guy. The girls went out with me to show their wildness, or upset their parents, or current or ex-spouse. Once I got a taste again I was off and running. Let a bunch of fine, honest, loving ones slip through my fingers. Maybe cause my fingers were busy texting the next victim or grabbing her behind. Now older, alone, I have some regrets. But I wouldn't trade a one of them. Cause I do love the women.

Well his eyes are wrinkled
Hair rapidly thinnin
Had a rough life, and lots of women
Some that he loved, some he just used
Tenderly gloved, but hearts left abused
There was never a time he was meaning to harm
Not hard to find, given his looks and his charm
Followed animal instincts, and sometimes his heart
Some held him together, some tore him apart
Not once did he look upon it as sinnin
Only excuse that he had, was he loved the women
Somehow he never wound up hitched
Never fathered no children
At the time that he had them, not one woman bitched
Their every desire happily he fulfilled them
He still has more women then guys he calls friends
Just got more in common or that's what he pretends
He was his mommas boy, back from the beginin
Might be that helped get a start to his love for women
Life winds down karma works good and bad magic
No matter how it might sound, this stories not tragic
Because in the end, push come to shove
Never had one, didn't feel some kinda love
Loves music, sunshine, and he loves his freedom
Good and bad times for sure he has seen em
Tell ya what's caused him the most tears, by far the most grinnin
Well that woulda been his love for the women
One owned his heart, but she never had any use
Might be his payback for livin life loose
Every love song ends sad, after a beautiful beginin
At the end of his song, you'll know he loved the women
