Old Man

(Sherab Lhamo)

Old man is about letting go and saying goodbye to someone you love, as they leave to live a different life. One in which there is no room for you.

Between the lines And the sentences You lost me at goodbye Every word that you spoke Loud with your decision to let go I almost cried More than once Definitely more than twice Cause it’s sad Thinking back Looking at how it was Now there’s nothing to see No you Just me I won’t stop you Though it will be hard to see you go So I might not come say bye How difficult it would be To see someone that you XXXX XXXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXX XXXX X XXXXXX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXX XX XXXX XX XXXXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XX XXX XX XXX XXXX XX

I danced for you

Life is a play and each of us have a role. Much like a movie, there is a begging, a middle and an end. The end brings about goodbye for characters that we fall in love with at some point.

Bloom

By Sherab Lhamo

A song where love is compared to a seed that is planted by two lovers. When the right conditions are met it blooms. Even a little bit of care saves it from the brink of death. However though with time and no effort and external hardships and internal disputes, the plant is neglected, rejected and thus dies.

Sniper

The song is a creative look at physical intimacy. The persona is generally a shy character with a lithe physique and is miles away from being athletic. That notwithstanding, he/she is determined to prove that appearances can be deceptive by giving an unexpected performance, a fantasy the person has had for a long time. Line 3 of Verse 1 suggests that the character has a wild side that the partner does not really know about. Verse 2 in its entirety preludes the intense drama expected to ensue that is further amplified in the lyrics of the Chorus. Line 2 of the Chorus is however a subtle assurance to the partner that they will be safe and should not have any fears about the "threat" the other is breathing out, and creates an atmosphere of honest expression of affection. The bridge has two parts, the first two lines capturing the actual activity of the night, which the third and fourth lines of Verse 2 hint will go on till late in the night by employing exaggeration as a tool, and the last two lines talk about the breaks they will have in-between all the "fighting" that will be going on.
