Way I Look
The song is about the struggles couples have in relationships with regard to the insecurities the partners grapple with about how they look.
The guy acknowledges that he has certain odd peculiarities about his looks that others would easily recognize. The two of them have never had a conversation around it and, as a result, the guy is only left with speculations about what exactly goes on in the girl's mind. She has proven time and time again that she is committed to the relationship, but from the way she looks at the guy, it is evident that she notices what everyone else sees.
Does she do that because it is just an obvious situation or does she secretly have concerns that she'd rather downplay or keep to herself? Some of them are highlighted in Verse 2: the concern over other people's opinions and what they will say, worries about the kids inheriting some of the limitations that he has, etc.
The Bridge is the guy's stand as it were; quoting Shakespeare, he states that "things without remedy should be without regard." It's all about genetics, and he finds solace in the fact that he didn't choose the family he was born into and thus had no choice on the matter.

VERSE 1:
In your eyes I see that we have a future
But those same eyes reveal that you may have some doubts
Or is it me who is just being too insecure
Tell me love and don't coat it up in sugar
CHORUS:
What are you scared of saying out to me
The way that you stare I can't help but to think
That you are seeing something odd
Or seeing something wrong 'bout the way that I look
Cos I kinda know there are some things odd
And there are some things wrong' bout my looks too
VERSE 2:
Are you worried 'bout what people will be saying
D'you mind the opinions of your relatives and friends
Or does it have to do with the kids that you will raise
Tell me love and don't you ever feel ashamed
BRIDGE:
It's genetics
I didn't choose my family
Shakespeare was right
Things without remedy
Should have no regard so
