Hysteric is about love and trust. Sometimes in life one person has to leave the other for a certain amount of time. But they always come back despite the other person's fear of them not returning. It's hard to live life without fear, but you can't let it stop you from living. You have to have trust, and rely on what what happens over time. If someone says they have to go, and they always return, you should rely on them returning again. I understand where the fear of them not returning comes in to play, but you have to work to not let it overtake you or your emotions. This lyric is about telling somebody exactly that.
This lyric is about time. It's something you can't see except on a clock, and that's not really seeing it. Time keeps on going even if we don't want it to. Sometimes it moves so slow in the days drag on, and other times it goes by so fast you wonder what hit you. It works both ways, time can affect how you feel whether it be good or bad. All I know is time doesn't go as fast or slow as I want it to. Time is controlled by no one, it's indicated by the hands of a clock or watch, but my hands have nothing to do with it
This is a fictitious lyric, and it's one that was inspired by Neil Young. To me he's one of the great songwriters of all time. It's about a woman who has money, and a man who doesn't. But she also has a steadfast love for this man, and is there for him at any turn. He knows how lucky he is to have her, and feels blessed. Sometimes you feel like love is just luck
This lyric is about hope, Hope for Love. I don't know if I have ever truly been in love in my whole life, or if I have the other person was probably not in love with me. There are many reasons for this, my ADHD, my bipolar, and of course my years of using drugs and alcohol. But that's not to say that I'm not a lovable guy, because I know I am. I try not to let those things overshadow the person that I really am. I yearn for love in my life, and I know it's out there. But before you can find love you have to love yourself. I'm working on that everyday. But I don't think I'm asking for too much, when I ask to find love.
These lyrics describe a young man's nightmare as his wife is killed by a drunk driver. He is struggling to come to grips with it and sees his wife all of the time as a ghost-like figure. Mentally he is sliding into an abyss and needs help.
