Topic(s): It works in a team/relationship, even if sometimes it looks like giving up on our own selves. Permanent self doubts ending in harmonic optimism. Atmosphere: fast, happy, euphoric, to pogo or dance on, breaking through, pushing forward, eventually scream, loud, wild Genre/Style I was thinking of: Indi-Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Indi-Electronic, Alternative, Alternative Rock Artist(s) I was thinking of: Friska Viljor, Phil Might Leave, Mando Diao, Kings of Leon, Ezra Furman, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, Milky Chance... Comments: Typical pop structure. Pre-Chorus & Outro. Outro can come fluently after the chorus & can be repeated multiple times, so that phrases will sound the opposite way around: It works out if we believe, in same rhythms, that we breathe..... So, it can end on "breathe".
This lyric is a dreamy lyric about someone looking for the answer, or the proverbial pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. They had a dream that they were sliding down the rainbow, and in it they hoped that there would be a part of gold at the end of it. But when they woke up, the we're just looking out a window, in a daydream state. They know that there's got to be something out there better than what they're going through. They're hopeful that one day they'll find it, and maybe it'll be at the end of a rainbow.
This lyric is about in a relationship that ends. It doesn't end badly, it ends in a friendship. The one person tells the other that I'll always be yours, and whenever you're down think of me, think of the good times that we had, and it'll take you out of that depression. They know the relationship wasn't working anymore, and has come to terms with that. They realize that some things aren't meant to be, and this relationship was one of those things
This lyric is about being in the throes of addiction. It's about being aware of how out of control your life has become. It can happen so fast, just one bad choice can send you into a downward spiral. Even though you want to get out of this situation, have somebody throw you a proverbial line, or life raft, and save you, it's so hard once you've already made that choice to go back to your addiction. Knowing something, and doing something about it are two totally different things.
This is a political lyric, about the threat on our democray. There are people on the far left and the far right that just spew conspiracy theories and lies. Their main goal is to have an authoritarian society. They don't believe in democracy, and there's only one solution.ans it's their's. This lyric is basically a call to all the people who believe in democracy the stand up, get out and let your voices be heard. When it's time to vote, go to The ballot box and vote these extremists out of office, or don't let them get in office. There's no time to waste, we are on the brink of something terrible. I never thought I would see this in my day, but I guess the Constitution no longer is a viable document. There are people out there who choose not to even consider it anymore, and make up their own rules. Granted this is only a small percentage of people on both sides, but unfortunately they seem to be more powerful than the people in the middle.
