Biloxi country
This song is about a young man rejected by his father and never given any love. His only escape was his guitar which he had to hide as his father would have sold it. This Mississippi boy aims for the stars and his goal of getting to Nashville, learning his craft in the honky-tonks, dive bars, and anywhere else that affords him the opportunity to play and sing.

Well I grew up in Biloxi
Where the country meets the sea
My daddy had no love for me
And I'd cry myself to sleep
I had to hide my guitar
My papa would have sold it for a bottle of beer
I'd sneak out and strum those strings
And the music set me free
Chorus
Well, I'm a rambling man, don't you see
Singing is my life, it's where I'm meant to be
I play from Texas to Tennessee and everywhere in between
The road is long, and the nights are cold
But the music keeps me warm, and it never grows old
I want to be in Nashville
I know I've got to aim that far
Through the honky-tonks and the dive bars
I'll chase my dreams, reach for the stars
And when I finally make it there
I'll thank the Lord for answering my prayers
And I'll sing my songs with all my heart
Hoping they'll touch someone right from the start
Chorus
Well, I'm a rambling man, don't you see
Singing is my life, it's where I'm meant to be
I play from Texas to Tennessee, and everywhere in between
For the road is long, and the nights are cold
But the music keeps me warm, and it never grows old
