For male singer-songwriters, likely in every genre of music, we find that a lot of our songs are about women. It just came to me to write a song about how there are so many songs about women. I think it came out pretty catchy and poignant in places. And it's true: No matter your situation, there's a song about women for you.

No matter who we are, no matter our political or cultural or religious differences, we're all living in this world. We all go through the same things. Life is going to fly right by for us all, and we're all going to feel it slipping away on us. This is just a heartfelt song about having pictures in your life to record all of those precious memories, so we can all look back and reflect.

A song about a woman who made the choice to leave her man, and the man warned her that she would be lonely and regret it. The story is basically that he knows she drinks to forget the memories but can't. Kind of just flipping the old country trope about the "Man always drinks" on its head.

This song is about keeping the promise of whatever and being unconditionally loyal through any situation

This song is about the end of the world and a zombie apocalypse. How lonely it gets and the mental strain it brings. At the end of the day there’s only one thing to do and that’s to keep moving on
