The singer found love for an instant and lost it, and is now haunted by the memory, which they dislike as it distracts them from what, in their opinion, should be important for them.

When the singer was young they tried to get somewhere, but now they are just trying to enjoy the ride, as they got lost early on and never found their way again.

The singer knows other people think they are throwing their life away by pursuing their singing career, but they don´t care and rub it on their faces that he is going to keep doing it and there is nothing anybody can do to stop them.

The singer dreams of getting to a better place but life keeps getting in the way. However, they will not give up and will continue to try.
