Topic(s): If we hold on to something too tight, it won't stay. Atmosphere: pop character, catchy chorus, singer/songwriter, charty, extraordinary verse melody, can be a stop & go style, can be melodically fluent Genre/Style I was thinking of: Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Indi-Electronic, Indi-Pop, Synth-Pop Artist(s) I was thinking of: Imagine Dragons, The Weeknd, dvsn, Awolnation, Milky Chance, Passanger, RacknBone, Topic (ft. A7S), Phil Might Leave,... Comments: typical pop-structure & easy to sing along with in the chorus. In the verses I thought of a lot of breaks (e.g. "How many"...break... "Times"; A bit like in the song "Believer" - Imagine Dragons). I might work with it myself, so cant give you exclusive licence on that one.

We never went out again, and later in life I found out when I was talking to her on facebook, that she thought I didn't like her. In reality I did, but I was just too scared to show her any affection. Maybe I held her hand once or something like that. So this lyric is about when I was 17
