Howard Aronson

I would like to introduce Howard Aronson. Howard is a "lover' of music and the lyrics that define a song. He has been writing since he was 8,. First with short stories in grade school, and then jokes as a Stand Up Comedian in the 80's. Howard is one of the most creative, and funny guys I have ever met.

Howard listens to a wide range of music, like Pearl Jam, The White Buffalo, Echo and The Bunneymen, Roxy Music, The Furs, Johnny Cash, and more. He is a fan of Rock, Blues, Progressive, New Wave, some punk, classical, jazz and country music.

Howard's lyrics are raw, real, deep, and razor sharp. They are stories, and ballads about himself and his battle with Addiction and Mental Illness. They are about his girlfriend's, his family, and upbringing, his friends, places he has been, and the experiences he has had in the past to present day. Some lyrics are about fictional characters as well.

Howard sees his lyrics being used for many different genres of music. All I will say is Howard is a "diamond in the rough", and could be someones Bernie Taupin. The possibilities are endless for him, and any singer/songwriter or band that wants to tap into his super creative, impactful, and emotional lyrics/mind. He will bring you to great highs, and depressing lows, that cut right to the bone.

What's it going to take (Howard Aronson)

This lyric is about the world today. I just wonder when people are going to wake up, what's it going to take for us another war another world war? We're at the point where that's ready to happen, with things the way they are in Europe today. We're on the back side of a pandemic, yet only the rich countries had access to the vaccine. Have we made a huge mistake by not helping out those poorer countries? So many more people have died then we really know, and the truth will probably never come out. The capitalists don't want us to know, and they just rubber stamp everything and go on as if nothing is wrong. If we don't do something soon the Earth will die way before it's time. Who gives a shit about sending people to the moon or Mars or even further, yeah it's cool to see pictures from a high-powered telescope to replace the Hubble. But that stuff's not so important. What's important is what's happening right now to the world. Good needs to rise up and defeat evil.

Precocious (Howard Aronson)

This lyric is about kids who think they're older than they really are, wiser and better than they really are. I like to use the word precocious not in the cute or positive sense, but more in the negative, as that's how I see the word. It's especially true today, when all our youth have no respect for the elderly or their parents or their teachers and use the internet to express themselves in a way that is negative. They think they know the world out there, when they have no clue. They think they're wise beyond their years, and they're not. It's time for them to listen to the older people who want to help them with a wonderful and successful life.

This song is about everybody who is trying to interfere with my life, give their unwanted opinions, basically are just hassling me on a daily basis to change. I'm not going to change for anyone, I'm going to change for myself, and I don't need somebody on my back everyday telling me this and that. There's so many people out there who don't want to look at themselves, and have to tell you what to do as a result. All I have to say to that, is get off my back.

This lyric is about people who think they know me, and what I'm thinking, and feeling. Although it's probably a bad thing to have someone live inside your head, and let them rent space, in this sense I'm talking about someone that should get inside my head and stay there until they can figure me out. To know me is to love me. I'm very gentle, kind, yet competitive person. I'd help anybody that was in need if I could. So I just want to let people know think they know me, The crawling my head and stay there for a while, and figure it out

Howz (Howard Aronson)

This is a song about me, and if I had a band I would call it Howz. That's a nickname for Howard. I can write lyrics, but I can't sing them. I don't even know how to read or write music. I very rarely edit my lyrics, and usually go with the first draft. I've always been able to write since I was a little boy. I started out with short stories and then wanted to be a writer in Hollywood, writing comedy. But my partying ways got in the way. I didn't pursue writing at all, except for the here and there poem to a girl I was dating. Finally when I got sober this last time in 2020, I started to write lyrics on a serious basis. And thanks to the site premium lyrics accepting me as a lyricist, and putting my lyrics out there for all to see, I sold my first lyric. It's not about the money, although it would be nice to make money from it someday, it's about the fact that I actually put my mind to something, and that is a result good things happened.
