I Feel

(M P WEISS)

When pushed to the edge of our psychological boundary so many people have taken their own lives, this is a story about how an overbearing and manipulative relationship can end in tragedy...

Intro: When birds fly high I feel envy inside Flapping wings so happy they sing But when we fly we don't feel alive I don't feel alive I don't feel alive Verse 1: I feel my boiling skin I feel the bubbling within I feel impending doom I feel you in the room I feel your gaze white hot I feel you about to take off I feel my skin go raw After falling to the floor Chorus: I could die and you won't shed no tears But to lose control is your biggest fear You never felt the way I use to feel All emotions are fake...I don't know what's real (X2) Verse 2: I wake up and you're there I always wake up scared If you're not up I wait Because you told me to wait I get up to make food I need you in the perfect mood Perfection or pain I don't remember my own name Chorus: I could die and you won't shed no tears But to lose control is your biggest fear You never felt the way I use to feel All emotions are fake...I don't know what's real (X2) Verse 3: I go to bed and you're there I always go to bed scared It takes 1 wrong move For your emotions to swoon I can't help but keep thinking I'm alive and he's winning But if I take this knife He can't control my life Chorus: I could die and you won't shed no tears But to lose control is your biggest fear You never felt the way I use to feel All emotions are fake...I don't know what's real (X2)

This piece describes loneliness in it's broken and fragmented form, the way our minds can never attribute it to one thing as it darts between many causes and roots of the problem.

What Gave Her Away

By Brian Hendrix

With all the love songs that have ever been written about the people we love, it's a stretch to imagine that anything's truly original. It might really all just be one giant song, just reworded and reworked every time. Well, if that's the case, here's another version of the "love song" from me, which is pretty catchy. The verse bleeds directly into the chorus, for more of an upbeat track, not a slow ballad. Pronounce "every" as "ev-er-ry" in the chorus and I think you'll be able to pick up what I intended with this one. I think the third verse is the strongest, perhaps of any song I've written for a while now, but it will be X'd out unless someone buys. My suggestion: Pick up a lower license, then come back for the exclusive rights once you see how strong that last verse is.

Reclaimer

By Steven Mailer

This song is about defiance, about finding the strength to stand up for yourself and refusing to bow to anyone. Reclaiming all that fear has robbed you of.
